·       Fun Run (money raised) $500 from Kohl’s

·       Giving out about $2,300 in scholarships to LHS

·       Proposed school improvement plan (2013-2014)bn

·       Parent STEAM Survey-feedback received (not much)

·       School Start Time/School Schedule

·       June: KRP Starting June 4

·       June: Computer lab T-TH 9-11A.M. They will have access to Imagine Learning, AR, Book exchange & Reflex Math. Flier will be going home with kids (brainstorm ideas for incentive for kids who come to lab like a punch pass)

·       Aug: 2 weeks of Summer school for K, 1 & 2^nd

·       Free breakfast next year for all students

·       Dancing With our Students Stars/ Flash Mob Watch·       Proposed start time for community Council meetings next year: 3rd Thursday of each month at 2:45 p.m. (email sent as well)

Canned Food Drive

We have reached our goal of 1,000 cans!!! Our big surprise for the students is, Big Blue will come and visit with the students on January 18th. Thank you so much for all of the donations we received!!! I really hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas break :)
