EMERGENCY INSTRUCTIONS

In an emergency, the school will:
  • Respond as designated by the Emergency Plan and provide information through the Logan City School District and local radio stations.
  • Care for students until it is safe for them to go home.
  • Work with local agencies.

In an emergency, parents will:
  • Tune in to local radio stations (KVNU 610 AM, KBLQ 92.9, KVFX 94.9)
  • Stay away from the school unless instructed otherwise by the district administration over the radio.
  • Leave the phone lines open by not calling the school so that the school can manage the emergency.
  • Refer to the Logan City School District Emergency Plan.

In an emergency, students will:
  • Stay with teachers and follow their instructions.
  • Only be released to a parent or person that has been designated on emergency release forms.

SAFE PLACE:  Each school has designated a second building as a safe place to care for students in the event of a full evacuation.
            Adams Elementary:  Logan 10th Ward Church, 792 N. 500 E.
            Ellis Elementary: Terrace Grove (Assisted Living Center), 345 N. 200 W.
            Hillcrest Elementary: LDS Church, 875 N. 1500 E. or 970 N. 1200 E (secondary)
            Wilson Elementary / Riverside: Mt. Logan Stake Center, 565 E. 100 S.
            Woodruff Elementary: LDS Church, 993 W. 10th S.
            Mt. Logan Middle School: Smiths Marketplace and then to Rec. Center
